Lloyd L. Myers, 91, passed
away Friday, March 29, 2013 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Dunkirk, Indiana,
leaving his wife, Lucy A. Myers of 68 years and seven children.
Lloyd was born on July 15,
1921 to William and Martha (Exendine) Myers in Winnipeg, Missouri. He later
married Lucy Vore on August 14, 1945 in Lebanon, Missouri.
He worked in Albany, Indiana
at McCormick Brothers. Lloyd loved to fish, hunt and play bingo.
Lloyd is survived by his
wife, Lucy Myers; 7 children: Alice (Kenny) Bennett, Herbert (Randa) Myers,
Carrie Turner, Dorothy Poore, William “Billy” (Billie Jean) Myers, Floyd “Kenny”
(Peggy) Myers, and Elizabeth (James “Bo”) Harker, 26 grandchildren, 51
great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters, Thelma, Delila
and Norma.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; a step-father, Melvin Rogers; 2 sons, Melvin Myers and Homer Myers; a brother, Ules Myers; two son-in-laws, Cliff
Turner and Kelly Poore, a granddaughter, a great-grandson and a
great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held
at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S.
Hartford St., Eaton, with Pastor Tom Fett officiating. Burial will follow in
Union Cemetery, Eaton.
Visitation for family and
friends will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday,
April 1, 2013 and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
