David Chenoweth


Eaton, IN

David Chenoweth, 75, passed away on July 19, 2016 at the AMG Specialty Hospital, Muncie.

He was born on March 31, 1941 to Lowell Forrest and Dawna (Beck) Chenoweth.  He was a graduate of Eaton High School in 1959 and served his country in the Army National Guard.

David worked several different jobs over the years but is most known for his work as a brick mason.

He is survived by his sister-in-law: Becky Chenoweth, two nephews, Brian Chenoweth (Marsha) and Stephen Chenoweth (Sylvia), two nieces, Denise Thieme and Tracy Grimes (Myron), several great-nieces and nephews and also several great-great-nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Dawn Chenoweth, and his brother, Paul Chenoweth.

Visitation for friends and family will from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton.

Burial will be made in Eaton Union Cemetery at a later date.

Timothy M. Wright


Shideler, IN

Timothy M Wright, 51, went home to be with the Lord Sunday Morning July 10, 2016 at his home in Eaton IN.

He was born in Hartford City October 1, 1964 to the parents of Louie V. and Shirley J. (McLeland) Wright. He was formerly employed at Mid-West Auto Body Panels in Eaton.

He is Survived by his mother Shirley, Son Tyler M. Wright (fiancé Barbie Beeman, granddaughter Kaydence Wright) and daughter Courtney Wright. He has three brothers, David T. Wright of Eaton (wife: Kimberly), Michael K. Wright of Muncie (wife: Megan, daughter Ava) and Timothy J Wright of Shideler IN., his friend and Mother of his children Lori Murray (Husband: Steve).

Tim attended Delta High School and served his country through the U.S. Army.  He was an avid WWE wrestling and Colts fan. He loved being outdoors fishing and canoeing , spending time with his family and friends which he adored. He was a gentle spirit with a big heart and all who knew him will have wonderful memories to keep his spirit alive.

He worked For Meridian Foods, Eaton Stone Image, Muncie Tru Form, Hartford City and Midwest Auto Body Panels Eaton in his lifetime.

He is preceded in Death by his Father Louie V. Wright, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles along with some close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home  200 S. Hartford St., Eaotn with Pastor Daryl Nichols officiating.  Burial with Military Rites by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will be at the Eaton Union Cemetery. 

Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Richard L. "Rick" Marine


EATON, IN

Richard L. “Rick” Marine, 69, passed away on July 9, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Rick was born on August 14, 1946 in Muncie, Indiana to Farrell and Crystal (Smith) Marine.  He graduated from Eaton High School in 1964.  After high school Rick attended and graduated from Nashville Diesel Auto College.

Rick served his country in the Army National Guard for several years. On March 3, 1968 he married Romanelle Tharp.

He and Romanelle owned and operated the Eaton Union 76 gas station in Eaton from 1979 until 1992.  A diesel mechanic by trade, Rick also drove trucks for McCammon Trucking, Illuminated Images and Buddy L Trucking.  He was also a long time member of the Amvets Post #12.

Rick had a passion for photography and being around the water.  He loved water skiing, was a long time scuba diver and instructor and was also a certified cave diver.  Rick traveled the world diving, exploring and taking photographs . 

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Romanelle Marine, his daughter, Deanna Nichols (David), a brother, Randy Marine (Judy), two grandchildren, Matthew Nichols and Kaylee Nichols, nephew Randall Marine, niece Lindsay Marine, several cousins and his dog, Lucy.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Farrell and Crystal Marine.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton, with Pastor Steve DeLisle officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to services Saturday.

Ollie Margaret Corner

Hartford City, IN

Ollie Margaret Corner, 90, passed away with her family by her side, on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born on August 27, 1925 in Hillsboro, Kentucky to Henry and Sarah (Wallace) Dailey.  Margaret married Lee Mansfield and together they had four children.

On September 9, 1974 she married Willard Corner. 

Margaret loved to fish, play cards, garden and enjoyed canning what she grew.  In addition to being a homemaker, Margaret worked for several factories over the years.  She attended the Heartland Bible Chapel in Hartford City and was a member of the Warner Gear Sympathy Club and the Fisher Body Sympathy Club.

Margaret was an avid shopper but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Bob Mansfield (Sandy), Dianna Hendricks (Barry) and Connie Duckworth (Brad), her step-children; Connie Wyrick-Geiling (Bill) and Gloria McKinley (Greg), two sisters, Lorena Reynonlds and Opal Hart, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Corner, her son, Charles Mansfield, step-son, Larry Corner, step-daughter, Barbara Thornburg, her brother, Alex Dailey, four sisters: Florence Freeman, Bernice Mansfield, Delores Purcell and Helen Riley, two half-sisters; Hazel Bea and Lilla Mae, grandson, Matt Mansfield, and a great-granddaughter, Kristen Smith and a great-great-granddaughter, Aria Mansfield.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Thom Rittichier officiating.  A committal service will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery chapel.  

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to services.

Lowell D. Rose

EATON, IN

Lowell D. Rose, 82, passed away on July 1, 2016 at his home. 

Lowell was born on May 11, 1934 in Eaton, Indiana to George and Oletha (Manor) Rose.  He was a graduate of Eaton High School, class of 1952.  He married Helen Bales on December 31, 1954 in Eaton.  Together they would have three daughters and raise their family in Eaton.

Lowell served his country by serving in the Army.  He worked for Borg Warner retiring after 44 years of employment and also worked part-time for Pitman-Richman Funeral Home for many years. 

Lowell attended the Eaton Church of God for many years, was a member of the UAW Local #287, Warner Gear Sympathy Club, and was a 50 year member of the Eaton Lodge #606 F&AM.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Helen Rose, three daughters: Debbie Hall (husband, Marty), Melissa Bushman and Cindy Murray (Tyler Holly), six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Rose and Virgil Rose, and three sisters: Mary Smith, Amelia Ellis and Carlene Sue Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Eaton Church of God 700 E. Harris St., Eaton, with Pastor Ken Mishler officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton one hour prior to services Wednesday, at the church.
