James K. Moles, 61

EATON, IN

JAMES K. MOLES, 61, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 in Ball Memorial Hospital.

The son of James Claude and Winnie (Lee) Moles, he was born June 13, 1948 in Byrdstown, Tennessee. James was a 1965 graduate of DeSoto High School and served his country in the Army during Viet Nam.

James worked in construction as a carpenter and lived most of his life in the Eaton area.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Kathryn Cook (husband, Jim), Muncie, Estel Moles (wife, Peggy), Winchester, Kathey Dotson, Muncie, Judy Grove (husband, Mark), Muncie, Debbie Dorman (husband, Dick), Eaton, Gary Moles (wife, Becky), Eaton, Bobby Moles (wife, Cheri), Muncie, and Vickie Moles, Eaton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James Claude and Winnie Moles.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Dennis Trimble presiding. Burial with Military Honors by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Robert E. Lawson, 78

EATON, IN

Robert E. Lawson, 78, passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 in Orlando, FL.

The son of Archie and Jamie Lawson, he was born January 31, 1931 in Clinton, TN. A 20 year Navy Veteran, he also retired from Container in Anderson as well as Borg Warner in Muncie. He married Virginia Merideth on October 22, 1983 in Eaton.

Robert loved all things about music and was a member of “The Grasspickers” bluegrass band. He a member of the First Baptist Church in Eaton and also the American Legion O’Leara Quirk Post #90.

Survivors include his wife Virginia, children: Debbie Kirkes (husband, Michael), Linda Thompson, Tammy Baker (husband, Mike), Robert Lawson (wife, Hope), Bill Horton (wife, Debbie), Brenda Brumley (husband, Dave), Ann Strunk (husband, Scott), Tanya Reed (husband, Todd), Mark Wilkerson, (wife, Teresa) and John Wilkerson (wife, Bev), 30 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Carter Lawson, a sister Sandra Hurst, and a grandson, Chad Wallace.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Friday, January 22, 2010 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Phil Fullhart and Pastor Dan Lewis presiding. Burial with Military Honors by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Gardens of Memory, Muncie.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 21 and one hour prior to services Friday.
