EATON, IN
Hannah M. Taylor, 94, went to
be with the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Heritage Pointe in Warren,
Indiana.
Hannah was born on September
20, 1918 to Judson and Stella (Kuzak) Beck in Brookville, Ohio. She married
Denzil “Huck” Taylor in 1940.
She graduated from Ball State
University with both a Master’s and Doctorate degree. She worked as a school teacher
in Albany for 2 years and then in Muncie for 22 years, retiring in 1980. She
was a member of High Street United Methodist Church in Muncie, belonged to the
American Association of University Women, and AARP.
Hannah is survived by her
son, Jerry (Jan) Taylor, 7 grandchildren; Brian Taylor, Chris Rooney, Jenna
Rooney, Scott Rooney, Beth Rooney, Trisha Jensen, and Lori Lupica; 9 great-grandchildren
and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband, 1 brother, and 10 sisters.
Funeral services will be held
at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200
S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
Visitation for family and
friends will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 and one hour prior the service on Wednesday.
