Eaton, IN
Virginia C. McCallister, 93,
passed away on February 16, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Virginia was born in Delaware
County on March 4, 1922 to Raymond and Sylvia (Matchett) Reynolds. She attended Eaton schools and later married
Charles McCallister.
Virginia worked for
restaurant in Eaton and was a member of the American Legion Aux in Eaton. She was a member of the Muncie South Foursquare
Church in Muncie.
She is survived by a sister,
Sandra Patterson (husband, Lee), two brothers, John Reynolds and Earl Reynolds,
and her great-niece, Betty Jo Lewis, whom she raised as her own, three
grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Renee Reynolds, as
well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents
and her husband Charles, Virginia was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Lee
Morris, five brothers: Richard Reynolds, Clifford Reynolds, Donald Reynolds, Phillip
Reynolds, and Eugene Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held
at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S.
Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Warren Willie officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory,
Muncie.
Visitation for friends and
family will be at the funeral home on Friday from, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
