Dale E. Parsons, 60, passed
away, Thursday, March 19, 2015, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Muncie, on May
28, 1954 to Charles and Garnet (Musselman) Parsons, and graduated from Delta
High School.
Dale has been involved in
farming since he was 10 years old. He later became the owner of his own
business, Parsons Construction.
He married Leila Black on
August 5, 1978 in Gas City.
Survivors include his wife,
Leila, of 36 years; three daughters, Kirsten Parsons (Donnie Anacker), Stephanie Parsons, and Nikiya Parsons ; two
grandchildren, Jade Anacker, and Daxton Anacker; a brother, John Parsons
(Karen); two sisters, Marilyn McKinley (Dick), and Carol Sheley (Michael);
three nephews, Chad Smith, Chris Smith, and Nathan Parsons, as well as two
dogs, Boney and Millie.
He is preceded in death by
his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be
held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home,
200 S. Hartford St., Eaton, Indiana. There will be no graveside services. Dale will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery
in Eaton.
Visitation for family and
friends will be held at the funeral home, on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 3:00
to 7:00 and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the
family request memorials to be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. The family would recommend that to honor Dale
that visitors attend in casual dress.
