EATON, IN
Myrtle R. Walker, 85, passed away on Friday, December 26,
2014 at Bethel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center, Muncie.
Myrtle was born on September 22, 1929 to Orval and Gladys
(Bybee) Wilson. She graduated from
Muncie Central High School and married Samuel Walker. Together they would raise four children.
Myrtle was a homemaker and was well known throughout the
community for her beautiful flowers and garden.
She was a long time member of the Eaton Methodist Church and the Garden
Club.
She is survived by her children: James Walker (Suzy), Roger
Walker (Lavina), Guy Walker (Kathleen) and Gladis Marie Stevens (Jim), one
brother, Willie Wilson, three sisters: Melvie Barber (Bill), Dorothy Tolbert
(Carl Eddie), and Helen Moody, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, as
well as several nieces and nephews.
While no immediate services are planned, a celebration of
her life will take place at her church in Eaton during the Spring of 2015.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Pitman-Richman
Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton.
