EATON, IN
Pauline E. Clevenger, 96, passed away Thursday, June 21,
2012 at Albany Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Albany.
She was born on September 21, 1915 in Delaware County to
Harry and Mabel (Lyons) Bilby. Pauline
graduated from Selma High School in 1934 and married Donald Clevenger on
October 31, 1937.
Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the Eaton First
Church of God. She was involved in
several church groups and loved to crochet.
She is survived by her children, Monty (Roberta) Clevenger
of Union City, IN, Sandra Penrod, of
Eaton, a sister, Dorothy Snider, seven grandchildren, Tony (Michelle) Penrod,
Gregory (Debbie) Penrod, Janet (Brian) White, Debra (Mike) Reed, Marcella
(Rick) Buckles, Trisha Wooten, and Carol (Leroy) Fisher, thirty
great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by
her husband Donald Clevenger, in 1991, four brothers, Rollin Bilby, Walter
Bilby, Rodney Bilby, and Chester Bilby, a sister, Hazel Young, three
grandchildren, Timothy Eugene Clevenger, Scott Duane Clevenger, and Shari Diane
Clevenger, a son-in-law, Robert Penrod, and a daughter-in-law, Beatrice
Clevenger.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 25,
2012 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor
Randy Davis presiding. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday,
June 24, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to services Monday, at
Pitman-Richman Funeral Home.
