Charles R. 'Dick' Foust, 72

Eaton, IN

Charles R. “Dick” Foust, 72, passed away, Wenesday, August 3, 2011 at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Eaton on July 10, 1939 to William and Helen (Clevenger) Foust. Charles graduated from Eaton High School in 1958 and went to work for Warner-Gear at age 18. On July 8, 1966 he married Mary Brenner at the Church of God in Eaton.

Charles served his country in the National Guard and also attended the Eaton First Church of God. He was an avid fisherman and took pride in his yard work. Charles was a huge sports fan, always watching sports on TV as well as attending most of Delta High School’s basketball and football games. In 2005, after 47 years of employment, he retired form Warner-Gear (Borg-Warner).

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Foust, three daughters: Lesa Foust (Russ Watkins), Pam Foust, and Becky Foust, a sister, Dolores Mullins (Mike), one grandchild, Cody Watkins, an uncle, E.R. Clevenger, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Foust and Loren Foust, and a sister, Donna June Foust.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 8, 2011 in the Eaton First Church of God, 700 E. Harris St., Eaton, with Pastor Andy Denniston presiding. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Visitation will be from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday, August 7, at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
