BARBARA J. SMITH, 65, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009 at her home.
The daughter of Charles and Florence “Smith” Guyear, she was born March 9, 1944 in Delaware County. She married William Lee Smith on June 6, 1963 in Muncie.
Barbara worked for Lifetouch in Muncie as a photo editor, and loved painting, puzzle games, and most of all her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, William Smith (wife, Terra), of Eaton, Cindy Chisman, of Glendale, AZ, and Nancy Clawson (husband, Jeff) of Eaton, three sisters: Betty Prator, Norma Bennett, and Bonnie Barger, six grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Cody, Johnny, David and Braydon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Charles and Florence, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Smith, and a brother, Bill Guyear.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am., Thursday, December 3, 2009 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Steve DeLisle presiding. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, and one hour prior to services Thursday.
