Robert W. "Bob" Lipscomb


Cammack, IN

Robert W. “Bob” Lipscomb, 74, passed away with his family by his side on Monday, February 24, 2014, after a short illness.

Bob was born on December 2, 1939 in Muncie, Indiana to James and Margaret (Geyear) Lipscomb.  He married Crystal Reading in Jellico, Tennessee and together they raised three daughters.

Bob retired from truck driving and enjoyed gardening and especially woodworking.

He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Lipscomb, three daughters: Angela Pierson (Charlie), Sheila Criswell (Joe), and Dana Morris (Rich); seven grandchildren: Britt, Alex, Caleb, Morgan, Zach, Allan-Michael, and Harry and three great-grandchildren: Audrey, Noah and Daniel.

Funeral services will be private.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Eaton.

The family would like to thank IU Health Ball Memorial Hospice for their care and compassion.

Lester Alan "Bear" Richardson II


EATON, IN
Lester Alan (Bear) Richardson II, 21, of Eaton, IN, died Thursday February 20th, at his home.
He was born at Ball Hospital in Muncie on July 23, 1992 to Lester Alan and Laura Ann (Stotler) Richardson. Bear attended Delta High School. He was a good and loyal friend, a beloved brother and son, and a favorite uncle. Never known as Lester, he was called ‘baby Bear,’ ‘brother Bear,’ ‘the bear’ – many did not even know his given name, he will always be remembered as Bear. He will be missed for his humor, his easy going attitude, and his warm presence. The youngest of nine children, he completed our family and his absence will forever leave an empty place. 
Bear is survived by his parents, by eight siblings Michael Richardson of Eaton, Shushan Richardson of Ukraine, TJ (Janet) Richardson of Marion, Robert Richardson of Nashville, Timothy (Emily) Richardson of Austin, Kandice Richardson of Nashville, Kimberly (Drew) Riddle of Eaton, and Katelynn (Eric) Hall of Eaton, by 14 nieces and nephews Isaiah, Reed and Emily Richardson; Mikela, Grace and Kara Richardson; Nicholas and Natasha White; Drew, Robert and Seth Richardson; Abbygail and Andrew Riddle, and Noah Hall; and by grandfather Larry Stotler, loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents Robert and Beverly (Moser) Richardson and maternal Grandmother Marilyn (Feltt) Stotler.
Services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. He will be laid to rest near his best friend, Jake Monroe.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the funeral home.

Kevin Reynolds


EATON, IN

Kevin E. Reynolds, 58, passed away, February 9, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

He was born on September 9, 1955 in Celina, Ohio to Pearl Eugene and Deloris Jane (Ellis) Reynolds.  Kevin was a 1973 graduate of Muncie Southside High School.

Kevin owned and operated Reynolds Autobody in Muncie and also operated a garage in Eaton.  Cars were Kevin’s life.  He enjoyed rebuilding, refurbishing, and especially painting automobiles.  Kevin also enjoyed building model cars and RC airplanes in his spare time.

He is survived by his brothers Kent Reynolds (Mary), Kyle Reynolds (Rachel), two nephews; Kent and Sean, six nieces: Kim, Jessica, Brittney, Kylie, Macie, and Paige, and his good friends, Danny Moore, Gale Pitman, and Chris Taylor.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Kenny Reynolds.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Jerry Van Natter officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Muncie.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Beverly Dunlap

Beverly L. Dunlap, 64, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 10, 2014 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Monday.

 

 

 

 

Farrell Marine


Eaton, IN

Farrell E. Marine, 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Elmcroft of Muncie.

He was born on July 8, 1926 to Eldon and Ella (Dean) Marine in Delaware County.  He graduated from Montpelier High School.

Farrell served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II.  He married Crystal Smith on October 24, 1944 in Redkey, Indiana.

He worked at Warner Gear, and was a co-owner of Marine Trucking.  Farrell also owned Crossbow Campground at Riverwood, Indiana and was a member of the Central Indiana Old Car Club.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Crystal Marine, two sons, Richard L. (Romanelle) Marine, and Randy E. (Judy) Marine; three grandchildren, Deanna (David) Nichols, Randall Marine, and Lindsay Marine, great- grandchildren, Matthew Nichols and Kaylee Nichols, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Eva Wanita White, and a brother, Claude M. Marine.

Private family services were held on Friday, February 7, 2014.  He was laid to rest at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.

The family would like to thank State of the Heart Hospice and the staff at Elmcroft for their excellent care and compassion.
