Lori Wright


Eaton, IN
Lori Wright, 52, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her residence.
Lori was born on April 29, 1960 to John and Ellen M. (Glass) Clevenger in Muncie. She graduated from Delta High School in 1978 and married her husband Brad on July 9, 1983 in Eaton.
She worked at First Merchants Bank in Eaton as an assistant manager. Lori was also a member of the Eaton Women’s Auxillary.
Survivors include her husband, Brad, a son, Alan, a daughter Kristi (fiancé Nate Suttles), and a step-daughter, Danell Wright. Her father, John Clevenger; two brothers, Mike (Diana) Clevenger and David (Lisa) Clevenger; a sister, Janeen (Brit) McIntire; a step-sister, Kim Stinson; three brothers-in-law, Mike (Deb) Wright, Rick (Anita) Wright, and Randy (Janet) Wright; a sister-in-law, Melissa Strunk; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Clevenger.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Cremation will follow and burial will be made in Union Cemetery, Eaton.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 4:00P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to The Little Red Door.

Rebecca Carmin


Kendallville, IN
Rebecca S. Carmin, 83, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendalville.
Rebecca was born on February 20, 1929 to Kemper “Doc” and Mary E. (Wright) McKinley. She graduated from Eaton High School and married P. Max Carmin on February 6, 1949 in Eaton.  Max and Rebecca were happily married for 60 years.
She worked for Peoples Ice Company and later as a manager at Marhoefers Employees Federal Credit Union which became Munseetown Federal Credit Union. 
Rebecca served as the treasurer of the Muncie Women’s Bowling League, and enjoyed her trips to the casino and playing cards with her friends in their local card club.
She is survived by her daughter, Jill Carmin, and a granddaughter, Samantha Carmin, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends and neighbors. 
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Max, and her two Brothers; Robert Boyd McKinley and Gene McKinley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
Visitation for friends and family will be at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2012.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Ruth Russell Storms


Hartford City, IN
Ruth Russell Storms, 95, widow of L. Floyd Storms, died on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor.
Ruth was born on February 23, 1917 in Union Township, Delaware County, IN, to Marion A. and Alma (Clevenger) Russell. Both Parents are deceased.
Ruth was a graduate of Royerton High School in 1934 and of Ball State Teachers College in 1938. She was married to L. Floyd Storms in Muncie, IN on March 19, 1938. Ruth was a homemaker and helped Floyd with farming for over 40 years near Millgrove, IN.
Her husband, Floyd, 85, died in Florida on March 14, 2001. Great-grandson, Matthew Storms, 3, died in Florida on April 26, 2001.
Survivors are son Ronald A. (wife, June) Storms, Hartford City; son Earl Ray (wife, Maryellen) Storms, Jacksonville, FL; daughter Nancy Ruth (husband, Ernesto) Ebalo, Oak Harbor, WA; and son Leon F. Storms, Hartford City. Also surviving are a brother, James Russell; a sister, Wilma J. Hewitt; and 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Ruth was a designated organ donor.
A service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Union Cemetery Chapel. A gathering will also be held at the cemetery chapel from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 24, 2012.
