Norma Fisher Keller, 83

MUNCIE, IN

NORMA FISHER KELLER, 83, passed away, Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of Wilbur and Lila (Snyder) Fisher, she was born August 22, 1926 in Granville, Indiana. She graduated from Eaton High School and married Robert Keller on May 16, 1948 in Newport, RI.

Norma was a homemaker, attended DeSoto United Methodist Church and was a member of the Home Ec Club.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Keller, of Muncie, a daughter, Karen Gibson (husband, Danial), Muncie, two sisters, Roberta Douglas, Muncie, Carol Ann West, Dunkirk, a brother, Robert Fisher (wife, Sara), Grandville, two grandchildren, Adam Gibson (Dinah), Yorktown, Alaina Gibson, Los Angles, CA, two great-grandchildren, Danial Antonio, and Juliet Gibson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Wilbur and Lila Fisher, Norma was preceded in death by a son Gary Keller and two sisters, Dorothy Fisher and Marthadel Terrell.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Daryl Hamlyn presiding. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Monday, May 24 and one hour prior to services Tuesday.

Memorials may be made in her name to DeSoto United Methodist Church or the Little Red Door, Cancer Services of Delaware County.

Mary K. Blevins, 50

MUNCIE, IN

MARY K. BLEVINS, 50, passed unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Muncie.

She was born in Muncie, February 27, 1960, the daughter of Donald D. and Bernice I. (Monroe) Wilber.

She spent most of her life in the Eaton/Muncie area, being self-employed in the craft business owning Wiggle Waggle Unltd.

Survivors include two sons, Earnest Blevins (wife, Ferris), Muncie, Jeff French (fiancĂ©, Chalista Epperhart), Eaton, daughter, Breanna Giles, Muncie, parents, Don and Bernice Wilber, Eaton, three brothers: Eugene Wilber (wife, Sherry), Muncie, Bub Wilber (wife, Judy), Muncie, and Benny Wilber of Eaton, two sisters, Doty Stafford (husband, Danny) of Eaton and Rose Marie “Sis” Miller (husband, Scott) of Connecticut, special nephew Brandon Wilber (wife, Dawn), Muncie, two granchildren, Zeke and Amanda Blevins, two step-grandchildren, Tristen and Kayleigh Epperhart, her spotted dog Moo Moo and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010 in McCormickview Chapel 2010 E. Purdue Rd. Muncie with Pastor Bobby York presiding. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until services, Saturday at the church.

Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, Eaton, is handling arrangements.

Debbie K. Massey, 52

MUNCIE, IN

DEBBIE K. MASSEY, 52, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010.

Debbie was born September 6, 1957 in Muncie and attended Delta High School. She married Rick Massey on March 22, 2002 in Muncie. Deb worked for Hillcroft as a caretaker as well as helping her husband Rick with New Brothers Cleaning.

Mamaw Debbie enjoyed gardening, crafting, scrap booking, traveling and most importantly spending time with her family and friends, while watching her grandchildren grow, which she loved and adored so much.

Deb is survived by her loving husband Rick, two children, Dr. Chris Phillips (wife, Kyleigh), and Jason Phillips (wife, Mandy), her father, Bo and step-mother Donna Dunlap, two grandchildren, Addison and Palmer Phillips, uncle Lloyd Thompson, brothers: Gary Chapman, Gale Pitman, Roger Pitman (wife, Cathy), Rick Pitman (wife, Laura), sisters: Darlene Miller (husband, Ricky), Dawn Cox, Marsha Cantley (husband, Phil), Mary Smithers (husband, Chuck), and Lynn Cruea, mother-in-law Shirley Massey, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Deb cherished her time spent with her best friends Tony and Lisa Parris as well as her special friends the Locke Family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Iva Pitman, mother Doris Dunlap, husband Michael Phillips, brothers, Glen and Vernon Pitman, sisters, Christine Pitman, Lucille Williams, Kimberly Polios, Beverly Koons, and Sandra Rees.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Steve DeLisle presiding. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 am until services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in her name to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Carl W. Eacret, 68

EATON, IN

CARL W. EACRET, 68, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his home.

The son of Clarence and Francis (Coffey) Eacret, he was born July 20, 1941 in Anderson, Indiana. Carl was raised in Pendleton and served his country in the Navy. He married Shirley T. Dyer on August 4, 1962 in Muncie.

Carl was a 30 year employee of Warner Gear retiring in 2005. He loved to fish and watch his grandchildrens sporting events.

He is survived by his children:, Charlene Tisdale (husband, Richard), Michael Morris (wife, Reba), Erik Eacret (wife, Tracy) and Derick “Buddy” Eacret, brothers: Allen Eacret (wife, Pam), Roy Mercer (wife, Joan), and Calvin Mercer (wife, Charlotte), sisters: Louise Whittaker, Ramona Decker (husband, Earl), Belinda Lane (husband, Leroy), Norma Jean Hendricks (husband, Tom) and Ruby Stiver, sister-in-law Debra Eacret, grandchildren: Michael, Shelby and Jessica Morris, great-grandchildren, Drew & Trey Mitchell, Haylee, Trinity, & Warren Eacret as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Eacret, parents, step-mother Lula Mae Eacret, and two brothers Roger Eacret and Michael McKinney, 3 brothers-in-law: Ronald Stiver, Carl Whittaker and Dick Smith, two sisters-in-law, Bobbie Mercer and Judy Eacret.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 13, 2010 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Robert Bowdell presiding. Burial with Military Rites by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Friends may call from at the funeral home from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 12 and one hour prior to services Thursday.
